On second thought

I change my mind. We are not going to be on team green after all. You see, I have 2 problems.

1) we are moving and I dont want to move a ton of stuff that we arent going to need over the next year and if we are having a girl I have soo much stuff to let go of.

2) I have a buying habit. Of buying little girl's clothes that is. Here is a picture of the things I had purchased for this baby (if a girl) as of about 3 weeks ago. Since the picture I have just about doubled it. In my defense, I am a huge bargin shopper and spent about 20.00 for everything in the picture, which I am quite sure I can recoupe on eBay, but that's beside the point.

So, tomorrow is the big day. Will we meet August or Mayson? Mustang says Mayson (though she wants her name to be Mustang and cant figure out why there cant be 2 girls in the same family with the same name). DH wants an August so that our boys can be close in age. I am really thinking girl, though I had a dream it was a boy the other night so now I am torn. I am ready to buy pink again though. Anyone want to guess??

Backwards in technology

I am now officially a desktop user-again-sigh. That means I have to sit at a little (might I add messy) desk that is far away from the tv with cable. DH accidentally cut the cable to our living room tv but that's another post. And, if Mustang isnt begging to pleeese play 'dot com' her phrase for www.noggin.com then I MIGHT get to spend a little time on the computer. Did I add that there is a bunch of crayon drawings on my screen? Yeah apparently the two children at this house (to remain nameless) thought you could color some of the pages of 'dot com' with crayon.

And why you ask am I complaining about the ability to access internet on my desktop? It would be because my loving son, Charger, decided to pour a soda-well MY soda-all over my laptop.

The big problem was that there was an accident out in front of my house so I ran to see the excitement (dont we all??). We spent awhile outside watching the police men and the fire trucks. It was a great school lesson in the making and I ate it up. We even got to see a police woman :)

Well when the accident was cleared the neighbors were outside and that included Mustang's best little friend E. So, we took advantage of the beautiful sunshine and played outside for a few hours.

We had some lunch, the kids both settled down for nap (yipee) and I settled in the comfy green recliner to kick back, relax, and...WHAT ON EARTH?!!!??? While we were throwing on our clothes so that we could look presentable to be porch monkeys while we watched the excitement of the accident, Charger had poured my soda on the laptop. It had sat that way for-3 hours! So, no saving it. If you turn it on it has a pretty green light on the button and it hums. That's it.

Oh well, I guess I was too spoiled. Lol.

Decluttering

I posted a few weeks back that we are planning to move very soon. In the meantime, I have been packing. I have been going through each room, one by one, and decluttering. I have been throwing things away, packing up things we want to keep but dont use, and making a large pile for our upcoming yard sale. Its amazing how freeing this is. I hope very much that we can keep up this decluttered look at our next home.

Today I focused on the kiddos room. It needs paint (not very neutral right now!) and still needs to be depersonalized a bit more, but its much closer to listing now.

Here are some before and afters. Click on the pictures to see the whole view.

Egg Hunt

The Easter bunny AKA Mommy (who filled the eggs) and The Crazy Aunts, and Joe who hid the eggs, stopped by Grandma's house on Saturday.

Mustang loved it, Charger hated it. Oh well. The candy was a hit and lots of fun by all.

Hoppy Easter part II

Evidentally there is a 5 picture limit per post so here are the rest...

Hoppy Easter

Here are previews of the Easter pictures. For some reason, when I link off site I only get half the pictures. However, they are huge files and would take me all day to upload them to the blog. You can find the entire pictures (and lots more) here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mycutiepye/
