Alphabet Easter Hunt

My kids LOVE to hunt for Easter eggs. I dont blame them, it was one of my favorite games as a kid. Even as an adults I enjoy hiding the eggs and helping my kids find them. What I dont like is the endless mounds of candy that come with them!

So this week we decided to have a little different sort of hunt. I wrote the letters of the alphabet on 26 plastic eggs {permanent marker works well}. I hid the eggs and the kids happily hunted them.

When we had found them all-or thought we had-we poured them out and put them in alphabetical order :). By doing that, we were able to figure out which of our eggs were missing. Turns out A and F were missing the first time.

The kids really enjoyed this, and we will be playing this for a few weeks to come I am sure.

We pray that you have a fantastic Easter weekend celebrating with friends and family the Hope of our Risen Lord! God Bless!!!

A fun way to do the Easter egg hunt without all the choccie! I like that you can also check whether or not all of the eggs have been found.

Happy Easter to you and your family.

I was on my way over to let you know I was giving you a gift and I see you already received it. Anyhow, I thought I would let you know I love this idea.
