Review-What Ticks You Off and How to Deal With It (CD) from Jeff Cavins

A couple months ago I reviewed the CD How Love Acts from Jeff Cavins, and loved it so much that I jumped at the chance to review another of his CD's, What Ticks You Off and How to Deal With It. I was looking forward to another entertaining and challenging message, and Mr. Cavins did not disappoint!

This CD is a recording of a live talk Jeff Cavins gave at the National Catholic Bible Conference, but I felt like I was right there in the room with him instead of in my kitchen cooking dinner. He drew me in and spoke right to my heart. His funny antidotes had me laughing out loud, and his fantastic message left me challenged to think about my own expectations of others.

Do you expect your husband, children, friends, activities, computer, to provide the things that only God can? So often we do this and dont even realize it. I know there are times that I have neglected my time with the Lord and am starting to feel empty. I try to fill myself up with random things that, of course, do not work. Then I expect my husband to just know how to fix me, and get upset at him when he cant. He gets frustrated because he doesnt even know whats wrong and the next thing you know we are in a fight over something really, really small because I am not in the Word.

In What Ticks You Off and How to Deal With It, Jeff Cavins addresses this very common issue among Christians and uses solid Biblical advice on what to do if {or should I say when} we find ourselves in this situation.

I highly recommend this and any product by Jeff Cavins. It can be purchased from The Catholic Company . For just $9.95.

God Bless!!
