Counting Corn & Pumpkins

When your daddy is a farmer, you, likely, have a lot of corn around. When you are in Tot School, it is highly likely that there will be corn :) That is how this 'game' was born.

You simply take all the corn kernels off the cob and put them into a little bowl.





Then Mommy uses the corn for counters in math :)

I had Mustang put the pumpkins in order. Went really well until we reached 13. I had to help her, a lot. Thats okay. At least I know what we need to work on. Then I had her use the corn and count out the number of kernels to match the number on the mat.

Oh and no, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. We are working on right to left. She wants to put everything left to right.
