Easy Peasy Recipe Rave

FINALLY!!!!! After trying a whole slew of new recipes, we found one to add to the family list. I generally try to add a new recipe each week. The vast majority of them have been a flop, but this one was enjoyed by 3 of 4 eaters. The only one that really matters is the DH, as there have been a few that I liked but he didnt. The only one who wouldnt eat it was Charger, but he doesnt count because he seems to be on a sort of hunger strike. He will only eat peanut butter sandwiches, Cheerios, and french fries. So, yeah, we arent consulting him for advice.

I got the recipe from A Mommy's Blessing.

Ingredients: Chicken Patties and Ranch dressing {an entire 16 oz bottle}. That's it!

Put them both in the crock pot on low for about 4 hours. I did turn it up to high for the last hour just to be sure it was cooked. I dont take chances with raw chicken.

Holly at A Mommy's Blessing serves the chicken over brown rice. I put it on hamburger buns with cheese. We also had french fries {so Charger wouldnt go hungry} and green beans {because they were in the cupboard!}.

So yummy and so easy! The only thing you have to remember to do is put out the chicken to thaw. Which I forgot, 2 days in a row. But, if you remember, then its super easy and very good. I am eating leftovers right now. God Bless :)

oo sounds like a perfect meal! I have a great cookbook called fix it and forget it 5 ingredients or less. I have found some really great recipes that way!

i have this in the crock right now. it'll be lunch tomorrow. it sounds too easy. i'm fighting the urge to doctor it up. lol i'm going to let it go and see how it turns out.

no doctoring needed. some mushrooms might be good in it, but it doesn't "need" a thing. the meat just fell apart. would make great sandwich stuff, too!
