Leaf Cards and Counters

This tray was also a bit time consuming, but I love the way it looks! The little tree cards are so beautiful! I wish I didnt have to take these pictures in the dark, they didnt come out quite like I had hoped. The other option is to take them with 'help.' Um yeah.

I presented the materials this way. The cup is full of leaves I bought at the Dollar Tree and cards that I made and laminated on the right.

The card to go with the tray reads as follows:

Leaf Cards & Counters
Level of difficulty: Medium to Hard
Objective:

Put the numbered trees in order 1-10.

Count out the designated number of leaves onto each tree. If you feel your child could do 1-5, but not 1-10, alter the cards and number of leaves to reflect that change.

Control of Error:
There are exactly enough leaves to provide each tree with its needed amount.

Also, if the card is turned over, there are the corresponding number of stickers. Your child can match up the leaves to the stickers and check their own work.

Mustang, especially, really enjoyed this one! If you like the idea of this tray, but it seems to take a bit more work then you had hoped, check out the fall tree game on Play to Learn Printables.

God Bless!!
