Garage Sale Treasures May 6

Its that time again! Yard sale day :). And, I must say that this week was a good one! I usually go on Fridays only. But, this morning my SIL called and told me there was a YS I MUST go to. DH actually had some cash handy, so I knew it was a sign. I'm very glad I went. They are a homeschooling family that is moving next weekend, so they wanted stuff gone and it was CHEAP!! The first few pictures are from that sale.

Everything in this picture is from Melissa and Doug. Starting from the top left:
Scoop & Stack Ice Cream Cone set, $2.00
New Dinosaur stamp set, $1.00
Pets Jigsaw in a Box, $1.00
Slice and Bake Cookie set (missing a few pieces), $1.00
Dress up Lacing Bear $1.00
Magnetic Pattern Blocks, $2.00

The Learning Journey Sets, $2.00 each

New stamp set for Mustang, $2.00.

These were from two different sales. The water table (on my list of wants for AGES) was from the sale today, the Little Tikes gas tank (to go with our Cozy Coupe we already owned) was from yesterday. Both were $5.00 each.

I had already found a few treasures yesterday:

On the left are magnetic puzzles. There are three parts-head, body, and legs of each person or animal. There are 14 total. $3.50
The right, is a spelling game that has wooden words and wooden letter tiles. $3.00
**I dont know the brand on either one, and cant locate them online. They were a little higher priced then I like to pay, but since I'd never seen them before I wasnt sure I could find them again.

2 pair of pjs and a bunch of tops for Charger (some for now some for fall) $4.25 total.

For Mini Cooper, Hanna Andersson dress, Carter's pjs and a pair of jeans to grow into. A Carter's dress and a pair of jeans for now. And a hat and gloves for winter-$8.35 (the Hanna dress was 5.00, but it's new).

So overall, some great treasures! The best were the following two items, though. I had seen both items and didnt really have the money to buy them. My IL's went to the sale, and without even asking me, and without me even mentioning them...went and purchased both items and surprised us with them. I was THRILLED.

This awesome train table for Charger from my MIL.

And this set from Kid Kraft minus the green chair. Sorry no personalize picture-I forgot to take a picture.

So, all in all I would say this weekend rates right up there with one of my best ever. Kinda like Christmas! I guess Mother's Day is a good day for great new things, too :).

Did you find any great treasures this weekend at a yard sale or thrift store? I'd love to see them. Make sure you link up to the Yard Sale Treasures linky at My Life on a Taffy Pull!

Happy Mother's Day!! and God Bless!!

OH MY GOODNESS!! :) I must say that I am quite jealous. lol What a great sale weekend for you. How cool to find a homeschool family sale. We LOVE our stamp sets here. And those magnetic puzzles look really fun too. We also have that same water table. The kids use it a lot (which reminds me it is finally getting warm enough to actually put it outside with some water lol).

What a blessing your inlaws were! That train/activity table is great (we have that one too!) And the table and chair set looks beautiful.

Have a fantastic Mother's Day!

oo wow you had an awesome weekend!!! I love all of your finds! I didn't get any toys or anything like that this weekend but I made a HUGE hall of clothing! The prices were good not amazing but the clothes were basically brand new and name brands like baby gap, lands end, eddie bauer, etc. Each for 50 cents to a dollar.
