DIY Montessori Knobless Cylinders

The other day I was putting away my hot curlers.  As I placed all the curlers on their correct spool I realized that the process reminded me of something.

At first it took me a few minutes to figure out what it was, but I finally realized it was our Knobless Cylinders in the school room!!

Now, don't get me wrong, it's not a complete replacement.  But putting the curlers away reminded me, especially, of the activity of placing the knobless cylinders into the knobbed cylinder blocks.

They may not be as pretty and colorful, but they are likely a lot cheaper!  Any old curler set would work-as long as it has multiple size curlers.

Testing it on my children went very well.

It took a bit for Mini too find all the spots,

But, she worked hard.  It held her attention for the entire work.

Charger couldn't wait to get a try!

The only disclaimer I have is to make sure you either clip off the cord or make sure it's put away as soon as the children are done.  Ask me how I know this :).

Thanks for stopping by and God Bless!

Your little disclaimer already expresses the thoughts going through my mind! Love the idea and yes this would work great minus the cord.
