Christmas Gift Ideas for a 6 Year Old Boy.

I thought about sharing with you his wish list, but I can't find it anymore.  Plus, he keeps adding to it and I CANNOT keep up! So, here is simply what is going under the tree.  Maybe it will give you some ideas for that last minute shopping!

We were on a John Deere kick it seemed this year (and ended up getting some good deals on Zulily that helped).

First we got some John Deere Mega Bloks.  This is the Mega Bloks - John Deere - Seeding Crew.  I don't know who is more excited...Dad or Charger.

We got this one to go with it.  This is the Mega Bloks - John Deere - Bale Transport Unit.  There are other sets, too.  I think we will need to try and get them in the future.  They are pretty cool!

This is certainly one of MY very favorite things under the tree! MasterPieces / John Deere Collector's Checkers Game Set.  The board is a bunch of fields, and when you get 'kinged' you get a tractor to put on top of your checkers.  I suspect ours will turn into a big field for playing with the barn, but still very cool.

I found a few I Spy Books at a yard sale this summer, so they will be going under the tree, too.

LEGO Batman 2 was on the top of both Charger AND Mustang's list.  I hope they don't fight over it ;).

The big guy, Santa, does make an appearance here (though he looks more like a 30 something pregnant lady).  And, here is what he (she) is bringing.

I'm pretty certain that this LEGO Ninjago Ultra Sonic Raider  is going to be the favorite of his gifts.  If you have a Ninjago fan and you don't know which one to get, this is the best one.  It  comes with ALL 4 of the main ninjas, which really gets a big start on your collection.  Just be sure to not pay more then $79.99 for it (or much less like I did).  I saw this jump to over $90.00 this weekend!

The LEGO Ninjago The Golden Dragon  was a good second set because it also adds the gold ninja to our collection.  We just need one more ninja and their leader.

Now, stocking stuffers.  I have a regular standing rule=no junk.  It is soooo easy to find little junky Dollar Store stuff to fill the stockings with.  But, then I regret it for the next week as everything breaks.  So, I cut back even more this year and chose some larger, more expensive items, to fill the stocking with useful items.

I found this Ninjago shirt on clearance for just $5.99 at our local Children's Place (it is more on the website).

This IRIS LEGO Minifigure and Brick Storage Case is small and fits nicely in the stocking. It will hold all his new Ninjago ninjas in one place, too.

And, of course, we he was going to 'need' the LEGO Ninjago - Lloyd that didn't come with either set :).

We also picked up a toothbrush, chocolate penguin, a few candy canes, a coloring book, a box of crayons, and a Halo Mega Bloks blister pack that has a mystery character in it.  But, that's all that's in the stocking this year!

That's also his complete Christmas.  If you are still looking for ideas, most of these are still available through Amazon with Prime shipping.

Hope the list is helpful!!

Merry Christmas,
Lisa
